The Goldie Collection
Written below is the channeled Candle Story behind this Curation
Goldies:
These beautiful tin vessels were crafted from a set of gold jars originally purchased to hold wax melts. I had this idea to have tin jars as the protective container for my wax melts. I hated how the sheer sachets seemed to grate the wax melts and I loathed the idea of plastic bags. I wanted a reusable container. However, these tins were too small to hold the appropriate amount of wax melts. I would need 2-3 tins to hold one set of my melts and that simply wouldn’t do. With that, these tins sat around. Being utilized for other crafts or gifts. When it came time to crafting candles for my Spring Events, I came across 15 of these tins remaining. I had many clients request smaller and more sample based candles, instead of my larger and more extravagant curations. I decided that I could craft unique “Wyrd Samples” out of these gold tins. They were about 8-9 oz of wax with the lid. They would be a fair price point and great for anyone who desired a smaller candle, a Wyrd Sample to determine if a larger altar piece was meant for them, or someone who desired a shorter burn time for spell workings. There was a variety of reasons why these candles would be ready to craft and so, I went for it.
When it comes to any set of uniform vessels, I try to find a theme to connect them. It was a bit difficult with the number 15. I didn’t want to separate them into batches either. I decided to go with a rainbow theme and a set of foundational intentions. Each encompassed within the Gold essence of the Tin. Connecting to the intention of enlightenment and godhood within each candle. Each candle was hand poured with a unique color and scent blend. And as always, their toppers were hand selected and individualized. I loved how they expressed the color spectrum of the rainbow and were each resting inside a pot of gold. Welcoming in all the abundance, prosperity, luck, love and rebirth blessings of the Spring season.
