Happiness is a Butterfly:

A beautiful and simple glass with a butterfly painted upon it. From the moment I saw this piece, I was singing Lana Del Rey’s “Happiness is a Butterfly.” A romantic and melancholic song about love. I find this song can have a variety of complex interpretations. For me, it is a battle of two hurt people trying to come together in love. Accepting one another’s demons, while also fighting them off. Trying to overcome the pain through the art of dance. Coming into synchronization with one another and transforming into bliss. This candle is a representation of the pain, the hurt, the shedding and the transformation that comes in the Spring Time. A time where we cleanse our past selves and embody a new sense of being. Leaving the caterpillar and cocoon behind. Dancing forward towards this new beginning, as a Butterfly.
