Summer Solstice-Litha Ritual- June 21st, 2023

This year as we move from a Gemini New Moon into the final day of the Gemini Sun and the First day of our Summer Season, Litha, Our Summer Solstice. I typically suggest a cleansing home cleaning/clearing routine every New Moon. With such alignment, and my honor to myself to always enjoy my Root and Crown Chakra cycles on Saturday and Sunday; I initiated my cleaning routine on Monday June 19th, 2023 with the Moon just entering Cancer. Juggling with the dual symbolism as Cancer moves from the shadow of the moon to the Light of the Sun. It was the most magickal of cleansing ritual days. Feeling into the energies of the new moon peace, and relaxation side to life, I began to clean as if to prepare for the biggest celebration of my life… so far.

I cleansed my home by vacuuming any and all corners. Sucking in any dirt, dust, stuffiness, muck and yuck. The entire time intently focusing on removing any and all areas of stuck energy. Of blockages, curses, hexes and freshened up my sanctuary. I relate this to my garden. In the Spring you complete an intense spring cleaning of clearing all that has died to plant the seeds to be reborn. Summer is the time to clean the home in preparation for the birth of ourselves, of the world, of Christ. The moment for the greatest inhale of sighs. The needed relief and blissful cry.

Cleanse your home either on Litha or before, even after if needed. I find you feel into your schedule. I believe we are entitled to one standard deviation of skewness to fit our individuality. Release the pressure of perfection and stressful punctuality. Plan a light and summery meal. Lavender, fruits and sweets are always a classic. After the holiday I will be releasing my personal recipes. I tend to find a recipe for guidelines and then go with the flow of feel from there. It can be quite trippy to feel the connection of the ancestors within kneading into the food curations as I extend them into my current timelines. It is a beautiful experience to witness, express and attend to such a tradition of life. Share this meal with yourself fully in love with your solitude, with a partner who is the better half of your world, or with a small or large family gathering of all kinds of souls. Spend your celebration as you need. Personally I believe Chad and I will finally be able to sleep the deepest of sleeps and spend our days in a honeymoon phase of peaceful snuggle and divine expression of love.

I recommend not only engaging in a smoke smudge to cleanse your space for this birth, but to create an aura spray for your hearth. I created mine with vinegar, cinnamon, ceadarwood, patchouli & rose and a splash of well water. Infusing my home with the bliss of the sun, of the light within us all. Welcoming in the spirits of all to embark blessings upon the birthing of a god/goddess, prince/princess, emperor/empress etc etc etc of all. Each Solstice we rebirth shining our new skin. Prepare your home for such arrival. Feel into the bliss of Gaia as her children dance, love and live.

I will complete a personal tarot reading for my hubby and I to reflect upon with our mushie minds. Potentially anyhow. I believe I feel a fun desire to take a minor dose to sink into the bliss, into the divine gift, of the crown that has been bestowed upon me. I will be laughing and dancing.. frolicking in my most childish joy of creating a life of pure freedom. Of pure wish fulfillment.

This is the final day in my cycle before the first day of my bleed. I will have a grand fire built in empowerment of the undeniable power I have found, reconnected and built within me. I will dance under the stars and I will welcome in my spirit family, my divinity with the party of the ages. My husband and I will make love before the fire from wish we were thrown, of which we rose.
