lexities. A grandiose of angst. The Earth is soaking up the final pools and puddles of Piscean Water. The loving, dreamy and nurturing amniotic water of the divine. We ended a Year of the Wood Snake. We entered a Year of the Fire Horse. Aries energy compiling itself together to boil the remnants of Pisces. A Mercury Retrograde in Pisces? Going Direct at the Catapult start of the Equinox? Prepare for the Martian Experience of a lifetime! We can feel ourselves in turmoil with the state of the world and the taste of War that ceases to fade off our palate. We can feel ourselves screeching “FUCK IT!” In the face of the system. Dropping everything to pursue our own needs, our own happiness and our own security! A powerful time within these years of Aquarian Pluto. We continue to welcome in the frequency of Liberty, Individuality and Justice. However, with that brightest beacons of light, comes a dark and treacherous shadow. Aries does a wonderful job at highlighting who is the weakest amongst the crowd. The test of the Heart of a Warrior. We must all find this Hero’s Heart within ourselves. We must all look inward to our Labors of Hercules. How can we restructure our lives outside of the system? What daily baby steps can we take to lead a life for ourselves? How do we defend against war? How do we walk the line of integrity within such complexities of society? Difficult questions with trade-off solutions. May we remind ourselves of our humanity and daily sense of power. May we continue to honor the grace for circumstance. And may we continue to strive for a better tomorrow with each present moment of today.
With all of that being said, what is the overall theme of this cycle? What am I personally experiencing and tapping into? Well I am starting my 30’s, I just completed my Saturn Return and I feel every loose end tying up into a perfect little bow. I have absolutely no idea where my life is completely headed. I know what I am doing with each step of every day. I have Delicately calculated every moment of my day into a schedule of Ritual. Attaching my birth chart and personal astrologies. Loosely following key themes in a more fixed sense. What would you expect from an Aquarius? With that, I needed an adaptable routine. I needed structure that was flexible. The harmony of Capricorn, Aquarius, Saturn and Pisces. Plus so much more. All of the cosmos and life within nature is layered with such devotion, love and care. How am I to blame or note one cause or variable? Everything collectively orchestrates. With doomsday on the mind and plastered on the news, it can be difficult to focus on your life. On your role within manifestation. I would like to encourage everyone to recenter themselves at the start of this Astrological New Year. Turn towards the joys of life. Tap into the “immature” or “naive” states of mind. Aries Season and Energy are vital doses of member-berries Of what it can feel like to be alive for the first time. To Frolic around like a Silly little Ram. Or gleefully with precision climb the Mountain that is your Dream-Vision. However, you’re also more than welcome to Rammm your head into the skull of another until one of you dies. Love, Hate, War, Harmony? All choices of perspective and inspirited action, hopefully towards child-like creative/imaginative bliss vs destructive authoritarianism.
As this is the “aCtUaL nEw YeAr,” now is the time to plant your seeds of resolution correct? Absolutely! I find every cycle to be important. I go above and beyond for everything, all the time. It is fun for me. I love celebrating the January New Year at the End of Yule for a variety of connections and interpretations. I find each engagement with an aspect or area of culture, life, tradition and etc. brings something enriching to my life. Which is why the fact that the rebirth and new year cycles are trending into mainstream spaces? Annoying. Not annoying for the reasons you may think. Annoying for the sense that all of those who bullied you, are finally in your niche of understanding. Where before they were committed to misunderstanding you. I welcome every wave of increase to the ascension of humanity. However, the internet can be nauseating at times. I have been nauseating at times. Perhaps this is what it means to age out of a phase. I certainly don’t want to be a grumpy elder who cringes at the kids nowadays. Yet, there is something exciting and unsettling about the collective uprising and the spaces that are now content promoting certain spiritual “truths-traditions-beliefs-etc.” I suppose suspicious is the better word. As we step into another Satanic Panic? I hope we all find a way to remain grounded and not find more ways to divide and other one another. The more unity of understanding we gain, and the more transparent we craft our boundaries/dividers, the more beautiful our ecosystem can become. Is this a message to utilize Aries Energy for a Warrior’s Peaceful retirement after the War? One could only dream of a world that focuses on the empowering side of a Sign/Energy. Maybe there is an Alchemist desire to wage war against itself for the transmutation of my/our benefit? Pisces will remind us, that inevitably most is out of our control. Aries reminds us that there are plenty of other aspects that are in our control.
I find the belief system and relationship society and culture have with setting intentions and resolutions is bleak and full of fluff. Most people are performative. Most quit before they get started. Aries is not about the big picture. I would argue that January, those Capricorn Intentions and “Resolutions” depict the larger picture of it all. These March intentions are the seeds. They are the small, fine, daily steps one can take. Equally, bridging Aries with a New Born, this is the time to play. To be excited about what you are learning, building and creating. The joy of fertilization. You can relate this to the Euphoria after birth once mother and father are holding the infant child. You can equally align this with the erotic bliss of sex that comes with conceiving to grow. Assess where you are in your life. With this being a Year One (2026) there may be benefit to starting with the New Big Picture or Plan for your life. The fear of the news media can make us feel like nothing matters. Switch that Nihilism into Absurdism. NOTHING FUCKING MATTERS! So take the risk on yourself. “Worship the Devil” and pave your own path. The “Left Hand Path.” Reject the status quo and Bet on Yourself. The remaining water of Pisces is a gift granted to the Aries transition. All that Remains of your truth, your vision, your muse and inspiration to live. What does that look like What is that exactly? Find your starting point. Plant that seed and water such a seed with this Divine Baton Hand-Off. Run out of the gate with the Blessing of the Fire Horse. Free-Spiritedly Roam along the path the Wood Snake Cleared for you. Or remain a victim inside your gate. Stay complacent with a life of simplicity and an illusion of security. Eventually every animal knows they are domesticated. Every prisoner accepts their fate that the cell is where they will die. That could never be me. It is up to you to commit to the bit or sit out another cycle. Unfortunately you will never feel brave when you are taking a risk. You will have to do it scared and trust that something within your soul knows that these are the actions you are meant to take. Allow your purest dreams to be your act of rebellion. To be the change you wish to see in this world. A World of Wish Fulfillment. A Home of Harmony amongst Humanity. What is your purpose on Earth? It has to be something more than corporate greed and any other conveyer belt we were strapped on as children. It is time to UpCycle yourself and your life.
My father, Rob, often tells me that the goal of life is to be whoever you want to be without hurting anyone. I have come to the realization that, that is not quite the philosophy I wish to share, nor the message I overall want to have. I love the sentiment. Those moments with my dad have often left me feeling supported, justified and ready to bulldoze life. However, there was a lingering guilt that resided within me. I hurt people often. People are often hurt by harmless expressions. Sometimes, hurt is inevitable. Especially with Martian themes of War and Empire pursuits. I decided to evolve the overall message. I cannot promise that I will “Do No Harm.” I shall “Do What Thou Wilt.” Nonetheless, I shall “Never Abuse.” If I am to be grounded, centered and balanced in my discernment with these principles of the Universe, I have to embrace that Harm is a subjective experience. One I cannot entirely control. One may be hurt by the boundaries I set. Often times many will be reactive, triggered or a level of uncomfortable by the disruptive force that is my Will to Live my Life as I please. Despite of that, it is my duty to ensure that my actions, while potentially harmful, they are not abusive. Abuse is an entirely different medium of intentional malice, manipulation, corruption and sinful natures. I Reject the Temptation of Recklessness within my Will. Leaving the ultimate message of the Aries Warrior Energy and Cycle to be a statement of evolution for us all.
