Tuesday is Solar Plexus Day, the day of the sun, of life. This is our weekly reminder that life and the sun are always within us, despite the larger collective seasonal cycles of winter/spring/summer/fall. Tuesday is the day where we simply “live” in our truth and dreams. This is the day we shine brightly within ourselves. This is the day of “self love” and interpersonal interactions. I find Solar Plexus Day to be the day of lived in connection. Engage with friends on this day for a fun Taco Tuesday Margarita. Embrace the brightness of Blonde. While this is a silly pop culture reference, Solar Plexus Day reminds me of Elle in Legally Blonde. Stand firm in yourself as you are in your duality, nuance and complexities. Your inner critic will tell you to stand small and only be “one” thing, name, title etc etc. It’s the day of excitement and bubbliness for all living aspects of your soul. Let go and enjoy yourself and your life.

I suggest creating your own personal affirmations for yourself. Take in the breath of fire while repeating them to yourself in your mind. Connect that fiery joy of the Sacral Chakra with the abundant life force of the Solar Chakra. Squash that inner critic. Don’t listen to the weak voices of others who infiltrated your essence with their fear, hatred and jealousy. This is the day where you believe in yourself fully and simply act. Like the sun, you just are, and life blossoms around you.

Crystals that are beneficial for this day would be citrine and amber. As always, find more for yourself to work with. These are simply my favorites or the most commonly available. I hope to provide a base that is accessible to all in the majority of circumstances. Wear yellow, a blonde wig or a funky outfit. Stand out and shine like the Sun however that looks for you.

For myself, this is the day I complete majority of my candle crafting creations. I find the creative spark intoxicating and invigorating. I can power through projects with pristine flow and ease. It does not feel like work. I never lack creative flow. The artistic blockages that find us, I believe are due to the fact we intend our creativity to be work. It is important for artists and creatives to remember a project will always fail when intended for profit and not out of pure creative love and inspiration. Organically align within the natural energies in your body, soul and world.

Find time to soak up the Sun on this day. Even in cloudy Michigan, getting outside will still bring forth some Sun energy through the clouds. It is also possible to ritualize a Vitamin D supplement if necessary. Either way, find time to be outside with nature. Fuse with the life force and maintain your openness to all the opportunities/experiences life has to offer. You will be pleasantly surprised the divine insights the Sun and Solar Plexus will bring to promote growth.

Become lost within your own Life force. You are equally a light bringer within yourself. Flourish and nourish the tasks, activities, events, people, places and ideas that give you the sense of brightness. Embrace the Star you know you are to be. Let go of any fuck you have to give over the shadows that try to smother your light.
