Welcome Ghouls and Demons to the Gemini Lunar Ritual Guide! Where we have our New Moon in Taurus. It almost feels as if we are in the past a little bit with the double Aries New Moon. I personally have felt a weird shift as I adapt to new “timelines” or “time frames.” As I have been off work, figuring out this next leg of my journey career wise, I have been doing all I can to follow a Lunar Calendar. It is significantly easy to lose track of time without the Gregorian Calendar. It is a sense of freedom I love, and a sense of stress I dread. The rest of the world does not align, which is fine for those who choose to follow, but I find that as I have aligned with myself, I have misaligned with the world. This can be a beautiful experience, but it is one that is the most difficult for me to ground into. I can only continue to dream, wish and manifest with my purest of heart’s desires that all this Taurus alignment will be the groundbreaking force into manifesting the most Venusian luxuries.

For this New Moon, I began cleansing my space early. Finding the adaptability within my own cycled schedule. I will be giving readings at the store front this weekend and therefore didn’t want to over book myself with rituals. I have completely imbedded all tasks within my home, truly my life, to be ritualistic in nature. I have grown to truly appreciate the power in the mundane organizing and cleaning of my space. I have found a beauty in the rearrangement of my home cycle to cycle. Not only does it clear out the negative, it revamps the positive, the protective, the balance. I will make sure to note the cleaning process each cycle, as each cycle it changes in the depth of how it is done. A deep clean either way, but also in how I add a likeness to Feng Shui within my home. I not only readjust my altar space, I will rearrange bits and pieces within my home. Not only decorate for holiday, but for season, sun and moon. Adding a constant flow of every within the day to day objects of my home. I like to view it as a vacation or other imaginative experience for the house objects. This can also be a form of chaos magick that holds onto the sanctity of your space, by it never being the same for others to target. An active warding, if you will.
Now that the cleaning is aside, your altar is fabulous and you have a general theme for yourself along this journey, it is time to set the intentions. Maybe before you begin with your intuitional writing, you set the mood. Play some meditation music, or soundtrack music to your life’s movie. Pour yourself a delicious drink, maybe smoke a joint. Get into your comfiest state of home and groove. However that looks like for you. The examples above, are those of which I personally choose from. Now, our intentions are adapted, evolved and blossoming from our dreamy intent of the New Year, of Ostara, of the larger scale cycles. How can we continue to evolve these intentions with the karmic lessons of the previous? Lean into those messages. For me personally, I was shown every which way I needed to be more disciplined within my routine and to not allow my emotions to redirect me away from my goals. While also understanding that I control time, that the time is now. It is easy to get lost in the turmoils of the Matrix or any other version of limitation you are working to overcome. Ultimately, it is necessary to take a chance. This New Moon, write a love letter to yourself, to the Universe. Describe your story as if every decision is working out for you. Write with full trust that the Universe is listening as if you were a child sitting upon Santa’s lap. Light up with joy over the luck you have. Embrace all your hard work and enjoy this luxurious rest of peace. Taurus season we worked hard to integrate our dreams through the chaos of planetary changes and dreadful retrogrades. This Gemini season, it is time to be the master manipulator, to satirically express a Gemini stereotype. Gemini, while they can be manipulating in their toxic states, in the positive expressions, they are master communicators. They thrive off getting exactly as they wish because they ask with demand for what they desire. They are fun, joyful and carefree. They are the executors of all the radical ideas of the Aquarius. Express with devout passion for yourself all that you wish to be carved into your reality. Carved into your ground as a Bull hoes a garden. As a tattoo intertwines with your flesh.
After you are finished writing your love letter, read it aloud to yourself in the mirror or to a loved one. Be transparent with yourself. Speak the word of god, the word of you into yourself. If you choose to complete the ritual with a partner or friend etc, it can be a moment for healing. Not only are you expressing strong communication for yourself, you are holding space for another to do so for themselves as well. We are all walking in this world together. We are all ice cream, just different flavors. Hold the space for any healing expressions that can be provided with deep listening and love.
Next, create a seal (or sigil) for that letter. If you can, stamp it onto the letter, or simply draw it. This should be personal to you and potentially a spouse who may be engaging in the ritual with you, do not share this with anyone else. Once you have your sigil complete, write the sigil on your left wrist with a washable marker or pen. I personally, would choose a light colored marker, like a highlighter. Then trace over your sigil with moon water. It can be moon water from a previous moon, or some you gather during this moon. I will set a cup or bowl of water out under the moon to soak in while I am writing my love letter. The water will be charged enough. However, if you feel you need more energy? You can await this part of the ritual until after the full New Moon Peak. Or as I said, you can choose another moon water you have stored. Feel into your intuition on which tool will be best suited for you. This is where we can individualize our rituals. Trace over the sigil 5 times counter clock wise and then 5 times clockwise. Soak your letter into the remaining moon water and place upon your altar. Once the Last Quarter release has passed and we are observing through the waning crescent, you can pour your water and letter into the earth. I will place mine into my ritual graveyard. If you need, bury your letter. I will lightly place soil over mine with some floral offerings. Your offerings can be done based off specific deity work, intuition, in alignment with the overall theme of your love letter or a mixture to bring forth a balance. It can vary depending on where we are all in our journey and which path we have chosen to take.
This is a Taurus New Moon. I find it necessary to note to ensure you enjoy a delicious meal and cozy jammie jam Netflix and Chill. It can be alone, with a spouse or friend. The goal is to engage with someone who you can completely melt into. Allow yourself to let your guard down and lean into the sensual trust of the Earth and all her magickal gifts she bestows upon humanity. Get out into nature, buy yourself something nice. Live intentionally romantic, always.
