Leo Cycle Lunar Ritual Guide: Libra/Scorpio First Quarter Moon July 25th, 2023

Ghouls and Demons! The Sun is finally in Leo. Which also means Venus Retrograde has officially begun! Only a couple days after our new alignments, we have the First Quarter Moon moving from Libra to Scorpio. Most likely a lack of knowledge and poor resources, I was unable to determine which sign this moon was to be in specifically at the peak illumination for this phase. I tend to lean towards the belief that I had such a struggle when researching information, because I am intended to utilize both energies. Libra and Scorpio have such a beautiful bond, in my humble opinion. Many of the Libras I know have a strong portion of Scorpio energy into them. However, not many Scorpios do I know to have Libra energy. I digress. I am feeling as if the balanced, artsy, loving Venus Ruled Libra moon is necessary for us to connect into with the karmic, Wheel of Fortune turning tides of the Scorpio moon. Through a handful of delightful conversations with my lovely soul sisters, I believe I discovered a focal point. Especially with the overwhelming and annoying controversy over the Barbie Movie and her plot. The triggered incels of the world, masculine and feminine and ambiguous alike, manipulated the perspectives to their agenda, yet again. I am not speaking about one specific side. All involved are truly insufferable. I despise all of the criticism for a nostalgic cinematic expression, that is based in comedy and a niche mythology. However, this is not a rant on my distaste for society. This is a ritual guide! How does this tangent connect? Our focus is on balancing the Feminine and Masculine energies within ourselves. To align with our creative purpose as creators of this realm. To heal and clear out any blockages to true love. The love of the self. Which is required in order to achieve the romantic love of a divine partner.

I suggest a ritual bath. Utilizing the self care, pampering energy of both the Leo Sun and Libra Moon; while also adding in the water element of the Scorpio. I suggest ensuring this bath is to your own aesthetic pleasures. Make sure this bath is beautiful to you and within your means. Be gracious with yourself if you are unable to achieve your perfect vision. The power of these energies aligns with the ability to find beauty within any scale. To be able to create beauty from ashes, from muck. Add roses and other flowers of your desire. Any florals that bring you peace, bliss and feel romanticized. Create a bathroom scenery filled with your garden desires. Imagine the bath to be a clear pond or lake for you to bask in. Add lavender epsom salt. I suggest lavender to be the salt of choice, however you are more than welcome to make a choice that resonates more deeply with your specific intention. Create a mini altar of incense and a candle or more along your tub or bathroom counter as offerings. Align your altar to the design of your personal image of Venus and a Bountiful Harvest. While the First Quarter is a phase of action, the action we are taking is the step towards self nourishing. The steps to a Beautiful and Dreamy Self Expression to manifest internally and externally. As above, so below.

Once the bath is set up and as she is running, envision her as your cup being filled to the brim. Within reason of safety precautions, I suggest filling the bath as high as you can while you’re sitting within it. As you envision your cup being filled, you can either simply think of the intentions, visualize them being put into the bath as you add your floral ingredients, or write them on slits of paper. I personally enjoy writing them out first, then I speak them aloud as I set them into the water. Create your intentions with the forms of affirmations. I Am statements are vital for this ritual. Speak as if you already have all you desire. Confidently that you are worthy of your highest dreams. Be your #1 fan. I have a fun projector light that has the stars and the crescent moon. I will put that on and sit within the bath in the dark. I suggest as dim of a room as you are comfortable. Play romantic, self empowering music or a love frequency mediation. Personalize it with your own expression. Not what the status quo associates as such.

I suggest sitting within the bath until the water cools or you reach approx 33 min. You can add a numerology with the time stamp of how long you soak. I personally will await for the water to become cool and uncomfortable for my tolerance. I prefer hot baths and truly wish to boil. Bathe within your own threshold. But, allow time for it to be a moment of detachment from the world and purely into the love you have for yourself as you are, as you dream to be. Allow the water to become a portal between yourself and your highest self. Become embraced within the purest truth that you are already one within yourself.

Once you have concluded your bath, before you drain the tub, collect the strips of paper (if you utilized that method), some of the flowers and other ingredients added and water within a jar or pitcher. If you used incense and are able to do so? Add the ashes of the incense to the collected mixture. You can use a jar and seal the mixture, you can pour the mixture into a decorated or special vessel of your choosing. Become as creative as you desire. I would relate the vessel to my own self image, in one representation or another. Place the mixture upon your altar until the Aquarius Full Moon. At the Full Moon, you can either bury your vessel within a ritual graveyard or pour the mixture back into the earth within your sacred space or ritual graveyard.
