Year of the Pig
Written below is the channeled Candle Story behind this Curation
Year of the Pig:

I had found this Piggy Vessel out and about one day. I absolutely adored it. I thought it would be a great addition to my vessel collection. I had just recently discovered I was the Year of the Pig, not the Year of the Rat. I was born 1996, however, my Birthday was just at the end of the Year of the Pig. The Chinese New Year had not occurred yet. I realized that this would be true for a good portion of January and February babies. Too often the year is stated and not much thought goes into it. Just like everyone who only knows or identifies as their Sun sign in Tropical or Vedic Astrology. There is a deeper depth to discover. I finally felt seen and understood within the understanding of my true Chinese Zodiac. I didn’t quite feel connected to the Rat. However, I did see how that played out in my life of misunderstandings. I could speculate that is due to being a cusp energy, despite my difficulties accepting certain cusp perspectives. With that, I knew I would need to create a lovely Year of the Pig from this vessel.
I sat with this vessel for about a year, perhaps a little over a year. I had attempted to utilize it for 2 other intuitive candle orders that ended up falling through for one reason or another. However, when it came time to craft a series of candles for my Spring Events, I couldn’t allow this one to miss out. I had been gifted a Pyrite Spider Charm. One that reminded me a bit of Charlotte from Charlotte’s Webb. Not to say she looked like her, nor did she initially radiate her essence. It was all simultaneous as I grabbed the Pig Vessel to be filled. As I grabbed the Pig and decided upon Red for his Wax, Charlotte came to mind. Her Pyrite bottom perfectly aligned with the properties of the Year of the Pig. As I was crafting, I recalled a voice in my head softly repeating, “That’s Some Pig.” I felt that presence as a message for me. I often needed to be reminded of how special it is that I am. How special all unique, individuals are.
