SplatterHouse Tattoo- 

Originally created upon the announcement of my tattoo artist opening up his own shop along side his Fiancé, Lauren. Lauren and her best friend Tricia, create beautiful Oddities in vintage frames and hits the nail on the head when targeting the Victorian Gothic aesthetic. The tattoo parlor was to host their oddities inside. I was filled with joy. I adore seeing my friends, fellow artists and inspiring humans. Pelkey, a fellow Aquarius, has been a significantly important artist figure in my life. Not only am I honored to wear his art upon my skin, but his art broke the conditioned boundaries that horror and pop culture have to be enemies. That there is a difference in loyalty and artistic collection. (Many tattoo artists do not like their clients getting art done by others. Pelkey and I had an insightful conversation about collecting art, and that includes tattoos.) Hearing him tell me his tale of how he arose to such a prolific artist, inspired me to reunite with the artist within myself. This curation was created as a blessing and a form of gratitude for guiding my Aquarius stellium to her true alignment. 

The original piece, unfortunately melted inside my home. My air conditioner went out one hot early summer day. The toppings melted and the design seemed ruined. I burned the candle down with the intent to refill him and fix the creation. I had been awaiting their open house party to deliver the creation. Procrastination always gets the best of me, but as it seems, the divine timing always works out. By this time, Lauren and Pelkey had announced their engagement. The romantic lover girl within me, adoring the perfection of such an aligned coupling, geeked with joy. SplatterHouse was transformed into a new blend of intentions. Re-designed as a “King” Candle for Steve and to promote his individual success, as well as blend in their business venture, their marriage, and their union and journey together as a whole. A perfect blend of individualism and soulmate alignment.
