"Silversprings" Candle Story

Silversprings

Written below is the channeled Candle Story behind this Curation

Silversprings:

I found that I adored the petite size of this vessel and I was entranced by the initials carved into the side of the metal. I could not tell if the letters were SOS, LOL or SOL or exactly how they were to be read. But I did know there was a large S that danced its way through my mind. I tapped into a woodsy energy. One that reminded me of Colorado or any mountain like environment. There was a strong sense of mining that came from this vessel. I day dreamt of all the Mountain Town or Western movies that somehow felt connected to this small 6 oz cup. I had to fill him with a dark forest green and fragrance him with whichever woodsy concoction I could muster. Once dried and awaiting to be topped, I found petrified wood slivers and sized up a pine cone to commit to the mountain theme. He was absolutely perfect. He reminded me of Silverton, Colorado and my time hiking the Ice Lakes Trail. Somehow, that mixture of memory and essence lead me to the name Silversprings. There was some potent connection to Fleetwood Mac. A connection, I still have yet to truly understand.

This handsome petite candle, debuted at my March Flea Market in Nashville. Now that I had a show under my belt, I felt more comfortable walking around and connecting with the community of booths and vendors. I was stopped by a rock booth and the gentleman asked if I wanted to crack open a geode. He gave the most beautiful spiel about being the first eyes to see the beauty within each geode. I loved his story and pitch. It was an amazing experience. An experience that I am not sure he realizes was as powerful and significant as it was. I had to gift him a candle in return for the geodes he gifted me. I was on the fence about which one to give him. Silversprings was calling out to me. I questioned myself. Wondering if I was being cheap and wanted to give out a less expensive candle or what my reasonings were. However, when I tried to find a different candle, I could hear Silversprings calling out to me. I wrapped him up and took him over to my new friend. As I headed over to him on the other side of the expo, I started to hear a radio speaker play Fleetwood Mac. It was not Silver Springs. In fact, I cannot recall which song it was. I simply heard Fleetwood and instantly felt secure in my decision. It was a synchronization that could not be excused as coincidence.
