“Momma Witch” Yuletide Candle Story

Momma Witch Yuletide-

This candle curation, commissioned by my beloved Crystal Lady, was inspired by a collection of seemingly “random,” divinely guided materials. Brittany requested a Yule/Birthday Altar piece for her mother. Telling me the tales of her mother and her magickal upbringing. In love with the power of a mother/daughter connection. Envious of her ancestral bloodline of practitioners. A relationship I yearn to have within my own family unit one day. Brittany provided me with the Amethyst cluster. She informed me she had a dream that it was within her mother’s candle. Excited to unravel the mystery within the dream, I sought the most perfect vessel.

I was troubled with which vessel to choose. Unsure if I had enough supplies present to create what I had hoped to manifest. My Aunt figure, Angela, the owner of A New Moon 22, provided me with a plethora of vessels from a family member whom had passed. Apparently, he was a creative hoarder. One who collected items of all from storage units. Within this collection, there was this red glass with a holly base. Screaming Christmas! This vessel reminded me of my deceased grandmother, Mrs.Clause incarnate. the vessel would not stop calling to me. Unsure if this was an appropriate vessel, I sent it to Brittany and told her the story. Requesting assurance it would be aligned. Brittany was ecstatic. Stating it was more than perfect for her mother. Affirming the intuitive magick I possess.

Dying the wax with golden yellow, representing the Golden Rings of Yule. Scented with the Solstice blend of Wintergreen & Pine. Adding the Witch’s Crescent Moon atop. Interconnecting the Death and Rebirth of the Divine Feminine within the flow of the seasons. May we all bask in gratitude of our harvest, blessed by the Divine Mother.
