I began creating this Rite of Passage candle with the details provided by Luisa. I contemplated creating matching olive green candles for the two ladies, as they both listed green as one of their preferred colors. As I decided to choose a different color for Trudy, I had to connect the Olive Green to the Pomegranate fragrance and symbolism. Lisa presented as a bold and courageous goddess. Perhaps a warrior woman, and if not quite, a woman that brought warmth to the world. A woman who stood up for Justice, Love and Beauty. I love the intertwining of the greens and the reds. The integration of the material world with the passion of the divine feminine. The beauty of a red lip on pale skin, resting upon the forrest ground.

As I created both curations for each individual lady, I found myself going above and beyond. While topping Lisa’s candle, I came to an understanding that my generous nature was doing more than the budget allowed. A necessary gift to add to such a significant intention and Rite of Passage. An understanding of generous life force that all Fire provides. A life that gives life simply through existing in authenticity. A heart so warm, it transforms a soul of Winter into a being of Summer. A goddess of duty to aide a helping hand to those lost in the underworld and lead them into the light.
