Healing Owl

Healing Owl-

My beautiful Pisces friend requested a candle for her friend who has experienced significant loss this year. This year has been a year of death, in the spiritual and the literal sense of the word. Much chance is upon us. Many egos are put to rest. We evolve and we shed. That does not dismiss the pain we feel through these growth spurts. Melissa sent me a photo of her friends living space. A lovely sunroom with blue and green tones throughout. It was earthy and clean. Organized, calm and in the most special way, simple, with unique geometry in design. Melissa originally requested an owl candle I had made for a candle line I did at Besom Apothecary. I was willing to retrieve the candle from the store. However, that Owl was in dedication to Odin. I conversed with Melissa on the meaning of the candle. After seeing her friend’s living space, I connected to the blue cobalt owl ash tray, my loving friend Chibbs provided for me to craft into a curation. I sent the owl to Melissa to see if she believed this owl to be more appropriate. We both excitedly agreed. I enjoy my dreamy and loving conversations with Melissa. She is a dear friend and supporter. She has granted me such joy in her belief in me.

Thus the journey began creating the candle with a healing tone. I did not need to be specific with my intent on anything direct. With so much loss in a variety of circumstances, healing needs to be universal and not pin pointed. Whichever healing is in need that moment she lights the candle, will be the healing provided. Allowing each needed wound to be tended to with gentle, caring precision. A light green wax to accent the plant life within her sacred space. Blue lotus to promote higher consciousness to see the divine plan in all the turbulence of the chaos. Jasmine for rest. Lotus for beauty, for fertility to grow the necessary new beginnings awaiting to fill the space created. I enchant the to a new cycle of abundance, of peace and serenity.
