Blossom:

From the moment I held this vessel, I envisioned a pallet of purples and pinks. A connection to Persephone and the Faerie realms of Spring Blossoms. There was an essence to the Maleficent Film and Fae like lands. I was called to my Valentines Bouquet where I made eye contact with the perfect shade of rose for such a curation. I blended the dyes to fit the shade. And, to be honest, I was a bit disappointed in how the color dried. I wanted something a bit softer and more pastel. However, through the trusting of the process, I found she was the perfect contrast shade of a base. There was a deep forest vibe that sparked from such a conclusion. As light and spring-like as I had initially envisioned, I realized that she was on the darker side of the Spring Spectrum. She represented the overcast skies and the April showers. The moist, mossy ground beneath your feet. As fragrant blossoms blended within the scent of rain. The deep breath of a cleansed rebirth.
