Created with a sarcastic or ironic undertone, this transmutation is a powerful protective talisman. I utilized an old, already burned, New Orleans Tourist VooDoo Candle pillar as a base. The base has simple and generic occult symbolism on the label. A large phrase stating “Evil Go Away” and a smaller banner underneath that states “Your Wish Burns Bright In Candlelight.” I adore the phrases. This was one of my first intuitively purchased magickal candles. I had used other basic candles with color candle magick prior. However, this one, at the time, I believed to have a real spell. To be enchanted by the people of the spookiest of magickal lands.. This vessel may be genuine. I do hesitate at the tourism aesthetic. But, I equally believe you can utilize tourist and popular cultural attraction to raise the energy of the symbolism within the vessel itself. While I may not personally subscribe to such cheesiness as I have evolved.. These expressions can be quite powerful due to the mere fact they are well known or have a highly believed connotation. Attaching that emphasis to this candle, for all who sees Him. Topping with an intently placed inverted pentagram built of protective gems and scented with strong oils to ensure protection against all adversaries by the power of the King Adversary, Satan himself.
