Satanism vs Luciferianism

I have often been asked the difference between Satanism and Luciferianism. I have often struggled within myself to understand or grasp what that means for myself, as well as a philosophy. The Left Hand Path within all the variations of expressions, interpretations and adaptations throughout time, can be a bit confusing. Especially when educating someone indoctrinated into another dogma. Often times, I had believed in the understanding of Satanism within an atheistic satanism perspective. Simply flipping the script. I had often loved a quote that stated, “The Romantic Satanist canonized Satan into the Humane Deity the Christian God Failed to be.” A quote I continue to love, in sentiment. But have outgrown in philosophy.
