This curation came to me as an intuitive/custom order for a dear friend of mine. She  mentioned how she loved that I call the candle containers vessels. She is a huge Sleep Token fan. Which I learned that the Front Man of the band is named “Vessel.” I loved the connection. Especially as I have uncovered more and more about the story telling and lore behind the music group. While my personal preference or knowledge for the band is limited, social media has done a powerful job at educating me. When I saw this bowl, it reminded me of the Mandala markings on Vessel’s mask. I have had this bowl for about 3 years now. Never finding the right fit to utilize the bowl for any other curation. Sleep Token has just released a new album. As I explored their social media pages, I found the floral essence of the new album release on their Instagram to be significant. I wanted to match the coloring and feminine glow. It was dark, romantic and subtly beautiful.

As I have heard snippets of the song and watched countless fan edits, their new song Caramel seemed to be significant timing for this candle. Weaving in all the subliminal messages, I connected the mask of Vessel and the Mask my dear friend is working at falling away from. It feels like she may have been doxxed, not quite literally, but subconsciously, emotionally and internally. There is a disconnect between the inner world and the outer world that is set to shed within this Year of the Snake. As my friend has had many readings involving career changes, this candle and the Saturnian Return energy He expels, will assist her in such inner workings. What was privately sacred for protection, will no longer need to be hidden away. My friend is not meant to hide in the shadows. She is meant to thrive in the public eye as her truest sense of self. Embracing the “I Am” Energy of the Aries Saturn. Protecting her privacy and creating a sanctuary for rejuvenation, but still finding a way to out herself out there without fear. Sleep Token and Vessel has found a state of balance that works for them. This candle is meant to find that inspiration. All the while answering her calling to free herself and embrace the “witchy,” “spiritual” and “feminine” title she knows she wears. And ensuring to don that Crown with Pride.
