As I was gazing at the crystal glass of this vessel, I envisioned a circus tent. There was something within the way the lid of the candy jar striped down. It reminded me of the Tiger Bar here in Nashville. Chad and I went to explore the bar, as it was 1930’s Freak Show themed. It wasn’t as fun of an atmosphere as we thought. It was your typical packed bar. It would seem as if Chad and I were getting “too old” for that scene. As well, we did not enjoy our drinks. They were sloppily made. The Fox Bar around the corner, was much, much better. However, the artwork was fun to see and the experience was one I will always cherish. Chad and I had a wonderful time together. While at the Tiger Bar, there was a fellow Aquarian woman who selected a Tarot drink. Chad pointed it out to me. With her drink came a tarot card. I was curious to see how they were selecting the cards. As I approached her to scope out what her card was, I realized it was the 10 of Swords. They weren’t simply handing out positive cards. It appeared to be a “random” or intuitive drawing. From there, I began doing her reading and connecting to her. It was a lovely experience. I was quite giddy with it. Which then lead me to ordering one of those drinks myself. My card ended up being the Queen of Pentacles. It was such a Divine Blessing.

As I was crafting this candle, I was deeply mesmerized by this memory. I recall how dark the bar was and how there were matte and dull colors that popped up from the dimmed lights. I adored the color combination of the black wax with the burnt orange, orange slices. I crafted the oranges to fit into a three moon phase symbol. Floating in the sea of blackness. The darkness that is the beginning of all creation. The silence necessary for inspiration to transpire. I added the Moonstone crystals as a token of the moonlight and the dreamy energy that comes through a deep slumber. This curation has been designed with the intent of creativity and authenticity. Shining light on our inner world and all we dream our outer world can be. Bridging them into a state of Full Moon wholeness.
