Welcome Ghouls and Demons to the Lunar Cycle Ritual Guides! This cycle we begin a Capricorn Cycle with an Aquarius Bridge. As traditional as Capricorn can be, they are only known for maintaining quality traditions necessary for evolution. Which is why they work hand in hand, along side Aquarius to bring in the New World by being disciplined to the work within a successful procedure. I envision the Aquarius bringing forth radical visionaries to the Capricorn. The Capricorn initially becomes uncomfortable, as an Earth sign would. Then He shakes, like an earthquake. Like the ground struck with lightening. With his Goat head he breaks through the blockage that forbids him to see the light of the Aquarius. Once the path is cleared with necessary force, His watery mastered tail flows through the destruction. A necessary duo of Saturnian Blood to become a god as bright as the Leo Sun (Leo Full Moon).

New Moon Capricorn Ritual: “Carve it into Stone”

January 11th, 2024 This may not seem like a traditional New Moon. Which may seem ballsy to veer away from within the rigid earth energy of Capricorn. However, I believe this to be the most balanced use for the Capricorn energy without tipping the scales to one side or the other. Capricorn, the balance within the inner poles. A contradiction in union between Land and Sea. Instead of writing intentions for that of which you wish to manifest, reflect upon the intentions, the habits and behaviors that benefited you throughout this past solar year. The winter season is better utilized for reflection than manifestation. However, partaking within all traditions, cycles and energies, will only empower the magick within you. Disciplined to the work, to the tradition of magick. To understand the journey of a river back to source. Utilizing the reflection with the intention maintain such progress, will ensure the strength of your new self. You will feel unwavering, leveled up and evolved in a sense of confidence that cannot be taken away from you. Practice and discipline are the main keys to maintaining mastery. These intentions are master keys to yourself. It is important to have them clearly labeled, especially once you start collecting so many.

For this ritual, I find it important to utilize an intention creation in relation to earth. I want you to literally or metaphorically find a way to etch these intentions of mastery into stone. These intentions can be anything you felt was vital to your balance and fulfillment of success? Typically well rounded success is when you feel balanced within all realms of your life. Mind, Body and Spirit. Everyone’s balance will look differently than yours. Capricorn reminds us to maintain tradition, however that will equally look differently. I feel too many hold tradition as un-evolving or mass collective approval. Some feel if it’s ancient? It HAS to be right. Which is not always true, but not always wrong. It is important to feel into this power of discernment. Truly assess that of which you want to maintain as tradition, and which traditions you wish to break free. Utilize the Aquarius ending of this cycle to absolve the dead traditions to the light to ascend. Aquarius is all about freedom and authenticity. These intentions will be connected into the Leo Full Moon. Where you may feel a mixture of death of rebirth. Your old self groundedly shedded and your new self debuting.

To redirect into creating this into a spell, utilize a clay tablet, a wood burning pallet sculpture materials or writing them into the earth with a carving tool. I would not carve them into a tree, but utilizing a log or other detached wood will be fine. You may find that you simply wish to write on paper. That can be visualized into the symbolism with carving into the earth. Remember your intentions are intentions of the past that you worked diligently to integrate over the year. What do you wish to carry through with you into the next life? Carve it into the earth. If you utilize another tool, ensure it is environmentally friendly, as to close out this ritual? You are to bury the intentions or leave out in nature somehow to absorb into the earth. Pleas ensure it is ethical to nature and the Greenwood.

Add sigils, offerings and other elements to your intention board. Ask for support from your ancestors, deities and spirit guides. Call upon the power within yourself. Be the leader of your lineage. Please the gods by fulfilling your destiny with authentic integrity.

First Quarter Taurus Ritual: “Taking Stubborn Action”

January 18th, 2024 A Taurus First Quarter, a moon of action, another moon phase of earth, at the edge of the Capricorn Sun. It is important to stay strong, determined, tenacious and devoted with unwavering faith and loyalty to yourself, your aspirations and your divine relationships. Divine relationships does not mean to ignore the 3D world and other people. It means relationships driven by aligned divinity. Soul family relationships. Ensure you are pouring into the right people, in the right way. Continue carving into your reality with precision.

Today would be a powerful day for a walk, workout, or heavy work sensory activities. Align such a task with your personal goals that you have for yourself and how you wish to be with those who mean the most to you. This can be through visualization, mindful meditation and/or materialism. Wear clothing that empowers you as the highest version of yourself. Eat a meal that symbolizes a sensory memory of integration of who you have become. Take notable action to complete a task for someone that you are in a meaningful relationship with.

The ritual is through executing a day of action, a day walking your walk, so to speak. If you aren’t in a position you can do this to the fullest extent? Find something in your day you can do to shift yourself into the life of your dreams. However, my personal advice, the only way to get to where you want to go, is to live it whole heartedly. This time last year, I made the decision to quit my safety net job and navigate my dream and destined career. While it is not an easy decision to make and it can be scary, it truly is the fastest way to the top, to free fall, to dive into the depths of your soul and glide away from anything that is not fulfilling to your soul. To the vision of how you truly desire your life to be, to look and to feel. Not out of ego, but out of genuine love for yourself. Assess where you are at. Take a leap of faith. It can be as big or as small as you need. But remember, intention is everything. It’s best to make the actions in decision within your reflections. Trust yourself to know where you need to be, at this time. Do not compete with another’s journey and hurt yourself. However, become inspirited by another, to trust yourself, to believe in your magick, your power and your capabilities to succeed.

With that being said, this can be a great moon phase for a sex ritual. With yourself or a divinely trusted partner, take action in sensuality and love. Make love to yourself and/or your partner(s). Speak affirmations out loud through the act. Visualize yourself and divine relationships of dreams grounded into your reality. As my girly pop Mercedes says, “Delulu until Trululu.” Tap into your third eye. Call upon the powers of Aquarius to bring forth these necessary sentiments of work, ethic, peace, love and luxury into the new world.

Full Moon Leo Ritual: “Debut the New You”

January 25th, 2024 A Full Moon in Leo at the Start of an Aquarius Sun, with a freshly stationed Aquarius Pluto! This full moon will be significantly transformative, especially if you have been committed to doing the work. As I had stated in the First Quarter Phase, you may take action with an abrupt decision, to make a drastic change. Maybe you didn’t take a huge leap, but you took a step? The scale does not matter. What matters is, that you took action. One step at a time, it is the journey after all. However, this Full Moon may hit you with a powerful surprise, an abrupt change in dramatic Leo fashion.

It will be important to be aware at this Full Moon. Surrender to the flames. Your authentically risen Phoenix cannot burn, but only dances within the rhythm of passion. You may feel a new sense of confidence. You may have found the Tower moment to be one of empowerment and divine trajectory. Do your best to see the eagle’s eye view of the circumstances if they appear unfavorable. “Everything is always working out for me, no matter how it looks at any given moment.”

How to ritual this day? This can be open depending on how your timeline plays out. Whether you gain clarity before, during or slightly after, the time between the full moon and the last quarter will be a time of Debuting the New You. This will look like shopping sprees for clothing, self care needs and self care tasks. Changing how you aesthetic or visually (sensory) satisfy aspects of your physical reality. Do you present yourself on social media differently? Do you delete old posts of past versions of yourself you no longer resonate with? (While maintaining love for those versions of yourself. I will delete some posts, but ensure I hold onto one loving memory of that era to show my journey.) Donate your closet to charity. Repurpose the old yous and how they may have manifested. If appropriate, having a burning ceremony. Dance by the fire. Allow your Leo Boldness and Main Character Energy to Shine!

Last Quarter Scorpio Ritual: “Bask In Your Glory”

February 2nd, 2024 (Aligned w/ Imbolc)

A Last Quarter Moon in Scorpio, connecting us deeper into the expression and release of our ascended Phoenix, can be known to some as the Dove phase of Scorpio. Although utilizing fire and air like metaphors for Scorpio, she still is a water sign. I find this time important to connect to the feminine aspects of Scorpio. I find the masculine form to be the symbol of a Scorpion, but the feminine aspect to be that of a siren or water dragon. Connect to water, take an intentional shower or bath. Bask in the loving glory of your reborn self. Rinse yourself in the healing power of water.

This moon is in alignment with Imbolc. Celebrated typically around February 1st-2nd. Known to some as Candlemas, St Brigid’s Day or Ground Hog’s Day. The day in which we are halfway between Winter and Spring, Halfway between Death and Renewal within the Triskele. Due to this alignment, the moon ritual itself may be seemingly short or “insignificant” for lack of a better word. I will be sharing an Imbolc Ritual later on. Do not get caught up on overloading your rituals, but do not feel the need to choose. Find creative expressions to juggle both in honor.

This can look like simply connecting to water as stated above. The Last Quarter can be felt like a final sigh. It is a closure. Which, when dedicated to the work, is usually a smooth close. However, can be chaotic if you are not disciplined within yourself. For the moon aspect of the day, feel deeply into the joy and excitement for your Rebirth. You are a baby calf, born in the Winter, you are gaining your strength, resting, recovering. But ready, aware and excited for the beauty of spring. Express gratitude for where you are and where you are going. You know that now you are being nourished to blossom. Leave an offering in gratitude. Utilize a candle to align with Imbolc. Leave flowers to represent the coming of spring. Slowly ease your eyes veiled in darkness to the light at the end of the journey. You have made it through another level, another cycle, another year. Rest into where you are.
