Aries Lunar Cycle Ritual Inspiration 2025
Welcome Ghouls and Demons to this Lunar Cycle’s Ritual Inspiration! We have just broken free of our cocoons with the shift into the Aries Sun and Alignment of the Spring Equinox. It is now the Astrological New Year. Coming in to center our scales, we have the Lunar beginning of our Rebirth Cycle. I find at this time we connect our Yin aspects and our Yang aspects into the wholeness of this new journey, harvest or cycle of life. With the Sun alignment and Equinox celebrations, we received a taste of how our next year will be playing out. It would've been significant to lean into a state of gratitude at this time. Gratitude for all that you have endured, healed, experienced, overcome and/or created. Within the Lunar Year of the Serpent, we will find ourselves shedding our old skin and embracing our new coat. As Aries rules over the face and the skin, we will find that this new beginning may come with an uncomfortable shed at our Crowns. Lifting and removing the veil over our old set of eyes. The world may look brand new, and in a way, it is entirely new. New to you and this new sense of self you have cultivated and refined throughout your soul’s journey within his human experience.
At this cycle, there will be a focus on finding the grounded center of authentic self. A meticulous act of ensuring you are carefully peeling back your old skin and nourishing this new layer. If you aren’t careful, you can risk painfully shedding the dead skin, that will inevitably fall away. You may even risk scarring or wounding to your new layer. Be delicate with yourself at this time. Especially when initiating the shed from the crown, over the eyes and down to the neck. Release the old mask and reveal a more pure essence to the external, material world. Allow your subconscious soul desires to surface and warmingly blossom themselves in the Sun.
Dark Moon Aries Ritual: “Execute Resolutions”
March 29th, 2025
For this New Moon Ritual, we can truly begin to execute or take action towards any resolutions we tapped into during our Gregorian New Year or Capricorn Cycle. While during the January New Year Resolutions, it was more of an exercise of self reflection. Here, under the Aries Fire, we can take aggressive and unapologetic action towards our goals. Connecting a sense of essence to your personal Mars Placement in your Birth Chart can be helpful to your ritual workings. For example, my Mars is in Aquarius in the 9th House. I will attach Aquarian and 9th House themes to this New Moon intention. The focus is on how we will achieve our goals and desires. Integrating them into the material plane. When it comes to an Aries Sun and New Year, we will need to ensure their is a support beam connected to our personal Mars placements. This will set us up for success and stability on a more personal plane vs a generic connection to the collective essence of the energies.
With this ritual, I would suggest finding time for some self care regarding your skin care or facial regimens. As we shed our mask, we may notice some breakouts and purges materialize. Anoint your routine with the intention of such a shed and revamp/rebirth. Perhaps an exfoliating treatment aligns in your shedding. Maybe you need more nourishment with a deep conditioning and moisturizing treatment. Feel into your personal needs and representations of what it means to be shedding this area of skin at this time. It will feel and look differently to everyone. Allow yourself to feel confident and excited about presenting this new layer to the world. Do not hide away in awkward teen puberty. This is a time of celebration, even if there isn’t a personal standard of perfection met. As we grow and evolve, there are always some imperfections. Take the time to ready yourself with a grooming or glamour ritual. We do not need to rush to the party. There will be plenty of time to show off this new sense of self. For now, it is taking the steps to embody this essence. It is our time to truly walk the talk we began meditating upon during the reflective January New Year.
This year, I am feeling a deeper sense into my American Easter Holiday Roots. Not necessarily the Christian aspects of them. However, the Easter Egg traditions. I feel inspired to encourage others to place each intention into an egg. I suggest to do so at random to a degree. Do not worry or focus too deeply on memorizing which intention is on which sheet of paper. Write them out in a variety of colors. Connect the color magick to the intention. Fully embrace all fiery creativity. Perhaps you realize that there are certain intentions you contemplated from January that no longer fit. Perhaps the Healing Flood of Pisces released a flowing blockage that was not in your awareness at the time. Winter Solstice through Spring Equinox was a time of meditative introspection. A connection of New/Dark Moon energy on a grander cycle. We are now in the First Quarter essence of the Grand Lunar Cycle of the Yearly Seasons. We may have set our blueprints and mapped out our plan. However, plans change when it comes to the execution side. Adapt instinctually with this Aries Warrior precision.
Next, intuitively select crystals, flowers, herbs or other totems with each “random” intention slip and place them into the eggs. You can choose which egg containers you use. If you decide to bury any eggs, please ensure they are biodegradable. These next steps of the ritual will depend on your personal journey and elemental connections. Perhaps you place the eggs out in your yard or sacred nature space at the Dark Moon and open them upon the Full Moon for a release of balanced intention along the Aries/Libra axis. Perhaps you bury them in your yard or sacred nature space to connect with the material/Earth plane/energy. You can equally place them under the Dark Moon and then set them aflame with a morning fire, connecting to the Aries Sun as he Rises. Perhaps you connect with the water element more and create an Aquarium filled with your egg intentions, or leave them to absorb into a body of water. However you see fit to integrate your intentions into this rebirth. The eggs will represent the hatching of this new sense of self. The element you connect to the most can be a dominant energy within your chart or a personal elemental working along your journey. Connect to the symbolism and feel into your personal connection to such symbolism. Structure the ritual into your own alchemical make up. My only strongly urged suggestion would be to connect to nature and outside for this ritual. Inside altar work is doable and fine if that is your desire or necessity within your circumstances. However, with this rebirth we are welcoming ourselves back into the material plane and that is best done through a physical expression of the elements on a grand scale. Embracing the Aries urge to do something physical and take aggressive action in a Meditative New Moon fashion.
First Quarter Cancer Ritual: “Integrate into Hearth”
April 5th, 2025
For this First Quarter Ritual, we can bridge in our New Moon Ritual by adding a support beam from the outside, material and natural world to our home and hearth. As I stated at the New Moon, it was significant to connect to nature and outside. For this Cancer First Quarter, it is time to take further action. Perhaps you kept your eggs hidden away outside and at this First Quarter you decide to bring them in to place upon your altar. Perhaps you begin taking literal actions and Feng Shui your home into a new sacred space that can hold your new essence. As we shed our skin and grow, we will need new clothes or a new bed. Just as children require new comforts, as we transform, we will need the same. What does this look like to you at this time? Is it quite literal by looking for a new home that is better suited for you to ground roots? Do you need to redecorate your entire living space? Or do you need to transform your entire routine into one that embodies who you are at a core level? How can you internally and externally feel at home in your new skin?
This may be a great time to reflect upon your intentions by opening the eggs. This will depend on how you choose to conduct your ritual. Perhaps you find synchronizations within the intuitively selected totems connected to each intention slip. Perhaps those are the clues you need, to rise such magick to the surface of your consciousness. It is another step towards walking your walk and presenting your transformed self to the external world. However, that cannot be fully embodied if you are not supported within your own sacred space. Your home and hearth should be a direct reflection of your authentic self. Not decorated or set up for anyone else’s amusement. But a space or shell that you can surrender to safely after you venture off. A space free of judgment or ridicule. With that being said, you may simply need to do a cleansing ritual at this time.
When it comes to this First Quarter Ritual, connect to your 4th House placements or see where you have Cancer in your chart. I have Libra 4th House energy in mine. I will be focusing on ensuring my hearth is a place of art and beauty. Somewhere comfortable and a reflection of the luxury I possess within myself. To add to it, I will also seek to ensure that it is a space of Justice and Liberation. Whether energetically or by establishing daily routines or rituals with my husband and fur babies to ensure such standards are met. It will be important to feel emotionally and physically secure within your new home. I like to relate this to those insecure moments of middle school. Your body may seem to be growing at an awkward rate. As a female, perhaps your chest blossomed, but you’re not quite ready to wear tight fitted shirts, but you most certainly need new clothes. Create the right fit of attire for you. Your home and hearth are your personal shell (your body) and your physical dwelling space. Which area needs more attention right now? Your body shell or your dwelling shell? More than likely, it will be a little bit of both. Do what you can. Take small actions to discover and create a secure space. It is only the beginning of this shedding. You may find that you feel more confident as the yearly cycle moves on. Don’t fret too much. Surrender to the present moment of how you feel as you are going through these changes and take reasonable actions that lead you towards your intentions/goals. To connect to the clothing metaphor, perhaps your goal is to be comfortable with your new body and curvy chest. Maybe you start with loose shirts and slowly begin to wear tighter shirts until you find that happy medium. These cycles can adjust quickly within this singular lunar phase, or it may all come to fruition in the larger cycles, such as during the Cancer Sun or Cancer Full Moon. As we are at the beginning of this cycle, it will be important to balance out where you are at and how your cycles are dancing within one another. Perhaps this cycle you are ready to show off with a deep v cut cocktail dress. Reward yourself with gratitude for the confidence you have cultivated, regardless at which phase of being you are at.
While we are creating a space that feels sacred and secure, you may find that there are items that no longer resonate with this newly transformed sense of self. It may be difficult to throw these items out. While Spring Cleaning is important at this time of year, it is okay to not quite be ready for it at this moon phase. It may be easier at the Full Moon or Last Quarter. At this First Quarter, it may be healing and energetically powerful to sit with the sentiment and honor that past version of yourself that was expressed through such an item or experience you are caught reminiscing. Equally, if you feel called, do not hesitate to do your Spring Cleaning at this time. That can connect to the cleansing ritual needs I mentioned earlier in this Lunar Phase. If an item is significantly sentimental, but you also feel called to dispose of it, save it for the Libra Full Moon to ritualize.
Full Moon Libra Ritual: “Celebrate the Beauty of Balance”
April 13th, 2025
For this Full Moon Ritual, the focus will be on releasing all of that which does not allow you to feel harmonious within yourself and your sense of expression to the outside/material world. Where do you find that you are at war with yourself internally? What do you hide or bury deep within you that causes your subconscious, unconscious or inner child to sabotage your manifestations? Here we can engage in a fire purging ritual. This would be a great time to burn (if burnable) everything that no longer fits your transformed sense of self. As your face/mask sheds, throw it in the fire and allow it to transform into the air of balance, harmony, self love and beauty. You may wish to connect your Venus Sign or Libra placements within your chart. You may connect your 7th house, however, here with an Aries Sun, I want the focus to be on the relationship with the self and how your relationship with yourself effects your external world. Venus Retrograde will have just concluded and be in post shadow phase. What lessons or insights rose to the surface in how you need to show up for yourself to allow Justice for yourself to bloom?
For this Full Moon, if you do not wish to engage in a fire ritual, or perhaps you are unable to burn the items you need to burn, create a Venn Diagram. This can symbolize the Libra Scales. Or you may create a literal scale representation. Use pictures, words or other creative expressions to find core and center representations of your authentic self. Place those on the Fulcrum or center circle of your diagram. For the side pans, this can be envisioned in a variety of ways. You can divide the left side as the receiving side and the right side as the giving side. Or you can have the left side as the shadow or Yin and the right side as the light or Yang aspects of yourself. All these representations are to express a sense of wholeness, self love and purity of the soul or old representations that no longer fit this new form of yours. It can depend on what you need at this time. With a Full Moon, we may have a strong sense of release. However, we equally may feel an extraordinary sense of gratitude. You may create a diagram to place upon your altar as a sense of gratitude for your new sense of self. You may also create one that represents your old self, honoring that version of you as you see fit, but allowing them to fade away. You can burn, bury or rip apart the pieces of this Venn diagram or scale vision board. I find that doing both is a powerful expression of transformation, especially in honoring the themes of the Year of the Serpent. Letting go of the old and welcoming in the new, embracing both with divine gratitude.
This would be a great time to honor those sentimental items that were difficult to cleanse out during the First Quarter. Perhaps you find a way to transmute the energy and keep the item. Maybe you gift the item and pass on the torch of all the wisdom that version of you received. There may be a way to creatively preserve this part of you in honor, just as mothers craft scrapbooks of all the firsts their children achieve in infancy. Find a way to honor and release that fulfills you. Not everything needs to be brutally destroyed and vanished. Not all aspects of our inner warrior need to be shamed for the violence they enacted. You found a means to an end to survive and achieve all that you desired or required of this life. Maybe this season is about retiring the sword in honor. Or perhaps this is a season of dusting off the sword and fighting for a deeper sense of harmony. Mediate in a state of balance in trusting that you will do what is necessary for you to complete this leveling up in life and how to call forth the beauty and justice you crave.
Last Quarter Capricorn/Aquarius Ritual: “Hand-Off Traditions into Evolution”
April 20th-21st, 2025
For this Last Quarter Ritual, we connect to my favorite (and personal) Saturnian Relay. We have the traditions of disciplinary wisdom of Capricorn and the Alchemical, Visionary Evolution of Aquarius. I have made this statement before and it has been a powerful theme over the years. With Capricorn and Aquarius, we have the grand hand off of the Torch of Wisdom. Capricorn passes along the Adversarial insights, discipline, freedom, karma and all the above that is necessary for the Aquarius to alchemize into personal power as a unique individual within the fixed system. Capricorn is headstrong and quite harshly brutal. Capricorn cannot be ignored for it is a necessary stability that allows the structure of our material world to exist and to remain in order. At this Last Quarter you may find yourself in a deep introspection of awareness within these themes and principles. What inevitable truths and rules are you required to embrace? As rebellious as the Aquarian energy wishes to be, the alchemical process cannot conclude itself without an acceptance of the harsh reality checks bestowed upon by Capricorn. Make note of these truths, laws and orders. How can you defend them? How can you honor them as a dutiful Knight respecting the Laws of the Land of the King? How can you bend such rules to your favor?
This ritual can be done visually, artistically or through journaling mediums. I would suggest writing down your wisdoms and disciplinary circumstances. The torches that are required to be passed on to embody the sense of self. To connect to our skin shedding metaphor, there will be elements of the past that have to go, if they linger, they can cause infection, scaring or an improper shed that leaves one uncomfortable and incapable of performing at their highest potential. Yet, there are still cells that remain. Cells that are not due for their demise. Foundational elements, chemicals and processes that allowed such a shed to occur to begin with. An example can be nutrition. What nutrients are required for you to have a proper and healthy shed? What do you need to do to maintain this transformation? Write these insights out in a list form. Some of them may seem like the limiting chains of the Devil. Write in a different, optimistic color, the ways that these “limitations” could or are working out in your benefit. Are these protecting you from something? Is this a case of “be careful what you wish for.” Or write about how you can transform the limitation into your benefit. It may sound delusional, but that is a perfect way to alchemize or transmute energy. Are people criticizing your work because it genuinely needs to be criticized? Or are they jealous, un-insightful or ignorant to your aspirations/dreams/goals/mediumship. Give yourself a fair assessment. Are their critiques beneficial to you and your emotions were getting in the way of seeing/feeling their value? How can you stabilize the watery emotions into a clay urn of Earth? How can you use the Aquarian vision to guide the water into the most fulfilling cup for your benefit? Perhaps your issue wasn’t the water or the earth, but simply the cup you were choosing to pour it within. Ensure you are filling the right cup with the right liquid or element. Create your own concoction of soul power and fill your chalice to the brim with authentic self love.
To conclude the ritual, after meditation and crafting your insights into your preferred medium, I suggest placing them into a vessel of some sort. I would recommend it being one that has an Aquarian Urn representation. Whether it is a pitcher, a jar or a chalice, it does not matter. You may feel crafty and create a special one of your own making. Decorate this vessel as you see fit. Place your concocted insights into the urn. Ensure they are the grounded wisdoms and alchemized/transmuted inputs. Place upon your altar and remain there until your intuition guides you to disposing of the spell. This may be an item that remains through the portals of eclipse season. You may find that you release this at a Full Moon that aligns with your inner workings. Or you may decide to keep such an altar piece, adding to it throughout the year as your skin sheds and your new essence manifests, ready to discard at the end of the Year of the Serpent.
