Welcome Ghouls and Demons to the Lunar Cycle Ritual Guides! We start our cycle with the powerful Aquarius New connected to the Aquarius Sun and freshly aligned Aquarius Pluto. I believe this is a powerful time for us to begin “preparations” for welcoming in our new world, within ourselves as the individual as well as for the collective. It is important to ensure you have built a stable foundation as we continue with the revolutionary force of the Age of Aquarius. While the ending of KaliYuga may have approximately a year of settling, we want to ensure our anchors are in alignment. Otherwise this destructive energy will sweep you off your feet. If you have been doing the work to ground yourself in authenticity and in flow of this evolutionary milestone? You shouldn’t be worried, but enjoying the ride and soaring in the wind of the stars high in the sky. We will be seeing drastic revolutions and revelations this upcoming astrological year. Pluto in Aquarius currently is preparing us for the final transition. In hopes that the Capricorn return from September 1st to November 19th will not be too shocking in the final demolition of our establishments. It is important to note now, that Pluto with redirect into Capricorn at the time of election season. Capricorn in Pluto has been bringing the shadows to the surface for the light of Aquarius to absolve. Many will lose themselves at this time after spending so much of their lives identifying with false idols. Plant the seeds now to align with your soul if you have not already. Stay firm within yourself and trust in the beauty of a new age, a new world and a “new” you! Although, the new that is you, is truly a return into your highest, truest most authentic self.

New Moon Aquarius Ritual:  “Your Personal Noah’s Ark” February 9th, 2024

This New Moon Ritual will continue on with the Wintery Death themes of release, while securing that of which is vital to be thrive in rebirth. I like to relate this to the theories of the solar body, however, in a continuation of your human experience. The Solar Body is typically related to the end of your Human Experience and how to ascend beyond physical death and the reincarnation process. However, I believe you can practice this divine power throughout the spiritual soul and ego death cycles of your human experience. With that being said, training your solar body is preparing yourself to be able to handle the process. Just as diver’s will build up their tolerance to the pressure of the ocean. Or astronauts to the lack of gravity in space. You cannot tolerate that of which you have not gradually trained yourself to do. You cannot expect yourself to lift 1000lbs if you haven’t tried lifting 100lbs.

Through this preparation process you will train your mind, body and soul on how you, the individual can adapt and accomplish such a task successfully. I believe there are basic ground rules we all need to follow, however, I believe certain techniques will work better for others. It is important to discover what works for you. I will always stress that significance when engaging in magick. With that being said, it is important to be honest with yourself on which habits, characteristics, beliefs, physical, spiritual and emotional attributes etc etc etc you will need to maintain and accept within yourself. It is important to not get lost in the comparison of others. It is important to not copy recipes and mimic the formula. For you may become entrapped into a loop of inauthenticity that is torturous and hell like to your inner being. And so, this New Moon, it is set up to assess your intentions with that of which you wish to keep with you and preserve or “mummify” and that of which you wish to allow to fade away into death to be reincarnated with a new purpose. You can connect this to the analogy of a wild fire. Wild Fires are not always negative. In fact, they burn down the old and allow healthier regrowth to occur. But you do not want the wild fire to completely burn down the entire habitat and ecosystem.

To continue on with the understanding of that of which is necessary to be cleared away or carried with you, I like to envision Noah’s Ark. We have reached a level of ascension, or purity or expression of ourselves. We have been called upon to create an ark that shall hold all that is required of us into this new phase, cycle and life. Every animal upon the ark is a representation of ourselves and the necessary puzzle pieces that maintain/create our ecosystem, our abundant expression of life within the world. We are preparing for the Great Flood of Pisces, the Void to come over and wash away that of which no longer serves us. That of which cannot come forth with us into the New Age. Do not leave behind anything you do not want to get carried away by the depths of such water. But do not be afraid to allow certain aspects to be washed away and settle into the oceanic depths.

Get creative in how you choose to create your ark. It can be a simple jar spell, a literal Ark figure, or you can come up with another expression of your ark representation. Fill the ark with all that you wish to keep. Maintain within yourself. That does not mean these things cannot grow or change, but the emphasis isn’t quite on their growth at this moment. They will grow as you settle into the New World. Try not to stress nor focus too heavily on the future. These are the foundations, the roots of you and are necessary to sustain you as you desire to be. Trust your intuition and do not become too paranoid in overpacking. Boats have to maintain a certain level of buoyancy to remain afloat. Do not weigh down our boat and set yourself up for failure. Be honest and strategic. Once you have completed this representation of your Ark, place upon your Altar or sacred space. I personally suggest leaving this to be until the Pisces New Moon, in which I would suggest “disposing” into a body of water of your choosing. (I will do my best to connect this with the New Moon of the Pisces Ritual Guide, however, in case of other inspiration or insights, I will note it here now.)

Taurus First Quarter W/ Quick Shift into Gemini: “The Joys of a Funeral”

February 16th, 2024

This First Quarter ritual is aligned with the action of closure. With the Aquarius Sun, I envision all of us awaiting to board our spaceships (our Noah’s Ark) and travel to a new world. With the Taurus Moon splitting the day with a Gemini Moon, the next phase of this cycle I believe to best be utilized in celebrating all that you loved about your old world, your past self, your past experience. This can coordinate with the just passing, Lupercalia/Valentines Day ritual. Understanding the beauty in death. Spend the day or even this entire week celebrating your new vision by saying goodbye to the old. Attend a funeral to yourself, your habit, etc etc.

If you are focusing on healthier eating habits? Perhaps you spend the day going to your “last supper” and enjoy eating your favorite, guilty pleasure processed food. Maybe you’s focusing on money habits and will no longer splurge on the treats you buy yourself each week? Enjoy one more round of whatever that treat is, but ensure to find a way to balance it within your life. If the treat is a weekly fancy dinner? Maybe cut down to once a month. If it is buying a $5 energy drink 2-3 times a day? Maybe have one a day or one every other day. This can depend on your budget or plans and habits. The point of these examples are to take this time to acknowledge and enjoy the habit with love and honor, but creating new paradigms on how to better fit such a thing into your life or deciding it is not beneficial for you at all.

Death simply means change and evolution. Something can change minimally, such as changing a coffee habit from daily to weekly. Or it can change drastically by never drinking coffee at all. Neither choice or intention is wrong. It is determining which decision is best for you and why. This Taurus/Gemini shift is bringing in the awareness of sensual expression and how we can communicate our habits through discipline. Show up for yourself in every aspect of your being. Do not be ashamed of the truth within your habit. This is the integration of the shadow element. Celebrating the life and purpose such an expression held, but putting it to rest when the cycle is complete. You attend billions of funerals every moment you are alive and experiencing. Take moments to celebrate the life in death and the death in life.

Take notes on new habits. Form a habit tracker. All while enjoying every guilt free moment of that last cigarette. Depending on where you are at in your life and your journey, will depend on how grande this ritual is conducted. If you are making big changes, like moving out of state, changing jobs etc etc create a going away party ritual. Visit the places you loved the most about where you have lived. Go to that grocery store on the corner that one last time. Express gratitude for the service provided by that spirit. Every aspect of our reality is filled with spirit. Honor that spirit for the time spent connecting and feeding into one another. We all know a store of the same corporation and one of them is always the “Nice Target” or the “Bad Target.” This is an understanding of that spirit within the store. Where you go and how you feel when you are there, has a purpose and a meaning. Trust in the sensation. Trust in the power of sentience and gain the knowledge of that communication style within yourself.

Take the time this First Quarter to meditate on the wheres you want to be and how you wish to feel when you are there. Maybe it is as simple as changing shopping locations within the same corporate branch, or perhaps it’s even deeper than that. Perhaps you change the flow of your energy, your time, your money and all that you pour into. Maybe this is where you decide to stop shopping at a corporation all together and the funeral you’re attending is the guilty pleasure of Target so you walk through there one last time and setting the intention, the protection, the boundary setting or cord cutting energy of connection to such a place. Take the time to think as deeply as you wish/can go. Attach these funerals to the New Moon intentions you had for yourself. Are you truly setting powerful intentions with precise action? Or are they surface level intentions with temporary holds?

Full Moon Virgo “The Faith in the Great Mother” February 24th, 2024

For the Full Moon I would like to note the date of 2/24/24. 2424 is a number that has been stated to be a message of divine trust and faith. This may be a day in which you feel a sense of release of limiting trust behaviors or beliefs. This can manifest painfully at the surface in a purging lesson or it can be a subtle shift of awareness. This will depend on the individual. Either way, I believe this to be an important synchronization with the Virgo energy of this moon cycle. To reconnect into the New Moon, I would imagine a sense of trust/doubt that Noah may have felt in the Ark story. Wouldn’t you also question? Would your faith be tested? What if something goes wrong? Why can’t I save anyone else? Dilemma after dilemma would pop into your mind. This can be a time in your life in which you are making grande changes and now this Pisces Sun coming in with this Sister Sign Full Moon is flooding away all the chains you freed yourself from. Are you worried something is or isn’t going to work out for you? Are you sure you can commit to this change? At this point you are already on the ark and the water is starting to rise. You may feel a whirlwind of emotions as this awareness of death and foresighted rebirth sets in.

The Virgo Moon is commanding that you commit to the death. Embrace it with such faith and beauty of the Divine Mother. This can be a sign of healing a mother wound or feminine wounding within your soul. What wounds do you have within you that forbid you from trusting the Divine Mother or your ability to rely on anyone or yourself? It is important to determine which shadow aspects you are healing in order to appropriately prepare your ritual intention.

This ritual can be expressed in a multitude of ways and it will be important to carryon the clairsentience integrated from the Taurus cycle. Remember these practices are steps of works in progress. Assess your level and embrace that practice with where you are at but do not be afraid to push yourself for more. You will know what you can handle and what you need. With that being said, feel into the best expression of release. Do you need to write and journal? Burn it all away? How can you free yourself in faith that it will all align for you to die in this way and be reborn in another?

For myself, I am currently feeling a deep need to ground. I truly wish to be buried deep in the cool dirt and have the warm sun kiss my skin. I yearn for a sandy beach and Mediterranean waves. I feel the need to be with nature, to root myself deeply and unwaverably. A day meditating and resting. Committing and believing in the trust of the divine. The trust in myself. The refusal to be washed away but firmly planted. Adapting to the conditions, altering the way of the path, but never redirecting away from the goal. You may have to move your route, but the direction is always north to the top. Meditating with intention in this manner, in my belief, will fast track your alchemization of these energies. Flipping the script.

Last Quarter Sagittarius “Enjoying the Time of the Abyss” March 3rd, 2024

This Last Quarter in Sagittarius is a time in which you may finally feel the breath of fresh air, the sigh that comes with settle onto the boat and into the reality of it all. It continues to rain and be washed away, but you’re safe upon your ark. You may finally believe that all will be fine. Hopefully you feel the fire of wisdom within your chest. The excitement for a new chapter, a new life and a wonderful new beginning. You start to dream of the rainbow and the dove that will shine through upon the final day. There are only two ish more weeks of Winter and then we will be blessed by the Solar Renewal of Spring!

This will be a grande day to find a creative expression to enjoy. Be imaginative and intentional align yourself with a game or activity, a form of active task and get lost in the fun. This can be a day with the dogs in the dog park, a day of painting or of enjoying a delicious meal. You may be limited on supplies as nearing the end. You may be exhausted and restless. Yearning for the freshness and abundance of summer. Sit in gratitude for what you have and what will come. Wherever your supply level lands, live and rejoice as if you are as abundant and free. Do not let the stress or worry consume you. The Great Mother has already proven her trust. She reawakens prosperous every year. You are strong enough to push through the final tunnel. Enjoy your day on the ark. There may be a time when you rejoice in memoir about the moments shared upon the ship. You may miss the boredom or the endless naps. The way the waves rocked you to sleep. Enjoy your time upon the abyss.
